Wetenschap is dienaar van het volk en moet zich aan foutmarge houden

De term wetenschap en wetenschappelijk wordt te kust en te keur gebruikt en vanuit die invalshoek is het begrijpelijk dat het volk ertegen in opstand komt. Je kan het gaan hebben over de manier waarop er tegen geagiteerd wordt maar het gevoel op zich is niet per definitie onjuist. Wetenschap is simpel gezegd iets signaleren, daar een theorie of hypothese van maken, die testen en als in 95% eenzelfde uitslag geeft als de theorie dan kan je het wetenschappelijk noemen. Een zeer kleine foutmarge is geoorloofd. Antidepressiva is niet wetenschappelijk. Psychoactieve medicatie ook niet. Freud zei eens dat geest zieken eigenlijk niet geholpen kunnen worden en dat ze voorzien in studiemateriaal en een inkomen.Is psychiatrie zichzelf aan het verloochenen als wetenschap? En waarom wordt Astronomie in de media altijd maar weer  wetenschap genoemd?
